Location and Accessibility
Eye Kettleby Lakes - Southern Park is located in a beautiful setting, surrounded by nature and offering a peaceful escape from the fast paced life that we are faced with every day. The park is easily accessible by car, with ample parking available for guests. Situated just a short drive from Melton Mowbray, it offers a convenient location while still maintaining a sense of tranquility.
The arrival process is made very easy with a number of car and caravan parking bays that are easy to negotiate before checking in to reception. Once checked in you are directed to your park, either Northern or Southern. We stayed in the Northern Park in January - you can read our review of our experience here.
Facilities and Amenities
Eye Kettleby Lakes Southern Park offers a range of facilities and amenities to enhance your stay, including modern and clean toilet and shower facilities, ensuring that guests can freshen up and feel comfortable throughout their visit.
For those who enjoy outdoor activities, the park boasts a number of fishing lakes and there are also walking trails, and two off-lead dog walking areas, perfect for a leisurely stroll or enjoying a meal surrounded by nature.
If you prefer to relax indoors, the clubhouse offers two cozy lounge areas, one for guests with dogs with comfortable seating and a fireplace. This is the perfect spot to unwind and socialise with other guests, especially during colder months. Look out for appearing artists and acts performing regularly. The food options feature local produce, are always prepared fresh and are very tasty.
Other amenities include a shop (in reception) where you can purchase essentials and snacks. The toilet and shower facilities in the Southern Park also features laundry facilities for guests who need to do some laundry during their stay.
Pitch Options
Eye Kettleby Lakes Southern Park offers a variety of pitch options to suit different preferences and caravan/motorhome sizes, which means there is something for everyone and every budget.
The pitches in the Southern Park are strategically sited throughout the park, and feature electric hook-up, fresh water and grey waste connections per pitch. All of the pitches are very close to nearby ponds/lakes allowing you to fully immerse yourself in nature.
No matter which accommodation option you choose, you can expect a clean and well-maintained space, with friendly staff available to assist you throughout your stay.

Eye Kettleby Lakes Southern Park has received rave reviews from its customers, with many praising the beautiful surroundings, friendly staff, and excellent facilities. On almost every caravan trip we take other caravaners nearly always ask us if we have stayed at Eye Kettleby Lakes yet, to which we can reply yes, twice now.
It seems most caravaners have particularly enjoyed the peaceful and tranquil atmosphere of the park, with its picturesque views and abundance of nature. Many have commented on the well-maintained grounds and clean facilities, which have contributed to a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Personally, for us, the staff in the Clubhouse at Eye Kettleby Lakes Southern Park deserve a special mention as they are always accommodating, friendly and efficient. We really enjoyed our stay at the Southern Park, the facilities are first-class and make staying here a real pleasure. We will definitely come back.
